The simple answer to this one is yes. Star Team members are selected via our comprehensive audition process only and our books only open twice a year. Audition places are also limited; we urge booking early to avoid disappointment.
The audition will last for approximately 3 hours. During this time children are seen by industry professionals throughout the audition workshops and are assessed on their singing, dance and acting potential. The process allows us to assess how best to develop the child’s ability, dexterity, comprehension and artistry rather than their current standard of performance. Children’s virtuosity varies in strength, we must determine whether our Star Team is the right place to nurture their specific performance needs. There is nothing to prepare in advance, all material will be taught on the day.

No, the presence of a third party in an audition room has been proven to affect performance. By giving a child the space and time this will help to both bring out their best performance and prepare them for any future professional auditions.
