Our Drama classes are perfect for students who want to explore acting and voice work, building confidence while exploring a variety of acting styles and practitioner techniques. Students engage in different forms of drama expression used within the industry and how to apply it. Drama classes include various exercises such as voice in performance, body movement within acting, fun drama based games, script work, and so much more! Students work on speech, poetry, monologues and acting technique working towards Speech and Drama & Theatre Studies examinations with Victoria College of Music, training up to Diploma and teaching level. Speech exams teach our students how to use their voice effectively, working on diction, expression and story telling. Drama & Theatre Studies exams work with monologues and duologues – small acting scenes where students learn to interpret written text to take on a role and perform as a character.
